Helping horses find their place in the world is one of my greatest passions, and getting horses out of situations that are not serving them so we can find them their best chance, the path.
This year alone I have rehomed (with a great horse steward team's help!) eight horses that came into my care and received veterinary, farrier, dental, and healing care before I found their homes. All of this was offered to help the horses and was not a paid service. I operate off of my own business costs, herd steward support, and good hearted help. We have had people offer their time in the way of healing services for horses, hauling horses to new locations, and weekly groups.
I have also helped numerous horses find their humans and homes. I will not stop doing it because I am a steward and protector of the horse, however I am calling upon the community to get involved!
The Herd Steward Sponsorship Program is an exchange. In exchange for your commitment to the herd, you receive the ability to learn with them and about them with a skilled horse woman.

Become Part of the Herd Stewardship
This involves a monthly commitment of $200 for at least 3 months within which you will support a horse of your choice’s feed, and feet costs. In exchange you will receive the ability to visit with this horse weekly on herd steward days, and after your first month, you can integrate a visitation twice a week. You will receive training and education on sponsor a horse days where you will learn about horses, how they perceive the world, how they perceive you, how they interact, how to communicate with them, and more. This sponsorship spot also includes 33% off of workshops during your sponsorship period.
If you would love to participate in this program, the details are as such:
You pick a horse to sponsor and that is your horse that you work with that only one other person can work with. We will illuminate what day/days work for the sponsorship group where you can come and learn and be with the horses.
I do ask for a 3 month commitment for this sponsorship so that the horses receive the support as well as the attention and for your benefit to learn the skills required to understand horses better.

Nurture a Horse Sponsor- $30
A Feed sponsor will provide two bales of hay per $30 donated. A bale lasts a week per horse. This would cover two weeks for a horse!
One time or monthly donation
Happy Hooves Sponsor- $75
A Farrier Sponsor will provide one farrier (hoof trimming) service to a horse. Each horse requires a farrier visit every 6-8 weeks (6-8 visits a year).
One time or monthly donation
Healthy & Whole Sponsor- $125
A H&W Sponsor will help to provide one of our horses with much needed dental care, chiropractic or massage work, and/or routine veterinary care. Most horses need dental work 1-2x per year, body work every 2-3 months, and routine care twice a year.

Herd Stewards receive entry into Steward Work and Play Days where we will work on the ranch, have a learning hour with the herd, and of course engage with the horses!
