Cancellation & Refund Policy

This is the overarching cancellation policy - unless another policy is otherwise stated on the individual page of a particular retreat.

Thank you for honoring the time, preparation, horses, and resources that make this work possible. When you reserve a session, workshop, retreat, immersion, or coaching experience, your space is held specifically for you and often limits the ability to offer that space to another participant.

1:1 Horse Medicine Sessions (In-Person & Immersive)

Full payment is required to reserve your session.

14+ days prior to your session:
• Your payment may be transferred one time to a future session within 90 days.

0–13 days prior to your session:
• Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Same-day cancellations and no-shows:
• Payments are forfeited.

This policy reflects the preparation, scheduling, and space-holding required for this work.

1:1 Coaching Sessions (Non-Horse)

Full payment is required to reserve your session.

24+ hours prior to your session:
• Your payment may be applied one time toward a rescheduled session.

Less than 24 hours’  or same day notice:
• Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Workshops & Group Experiences

Full payment is required to reserve your space.

If Medicine Horse Healing Ranch cancels an event:
• Participants may choose a full refund or full credit toward a future offering.

​If an event is postponed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances:
• Registration will automatically transfer to the new date.
• If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may choose a full refund or full credit.

Participant cancellations:

31+ days prior to the event:
• Payment may be transferred one time to a future workshop or group experience within 12 months.

0–30 days prior to the event:
• Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Digital & Online Courses

All digital products, online courses, and downloadable materials are non-refundable upon purchase.
Please review course descriptions carefully prior to registration.
Access periods and expiration dates are the responsibility of the participant.

Retreats & Immersions

Because retreats require extensive planning, horse care, staffing, facility reservations, travel arrangements,
and advance expenses, the following policy applies:

90+ days prior to retreat start date:
Partial refund minus 15% admin fee.
Or, transfer 100% of your payment to a future retreat within 12 months.

60-89 days:
50% refund or transfer 100% to future retreat within 12 months.

31-60 days prior to retreat start date:
Payments are non-refundable.
 Payment may be transferred one time to a future retreat within 12 months.

0–30 days prior to retreat start date:
Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Transfer can only be used once - meaning you cannot shift it once you've transferred and held another spot.

Participant Replacement
If you are unable to attend a retreat, workshop, immersion, or group event,
you may transfer or sell your space to another participant with prior approval.
