Horse Education (What some call training)

I enjoy working with horses and their owners together, but there are also the scenarios where you have a horse that needs more education (what most call 'training'), exercising, exposure, and overall schooling.  There are also scenarios where you are looking to better understand your horse, and would like me to do an evaluation to give you a broader picture.  In these cases, I can also help by working with your horse.

Getting to Know You Sessions

I do intake journeys with horses where I will do a full intake on your horse which involves at least 3 sessions as an initial intake. I can travel to your place up to 30 miles from Cornville, will travel beyond Cornville for additional fuel cost. 
 
This will involve: 

• Grooming, overall soundness, and body intake (identifying any areas of soreness or needs for improvement).
• Tack evaluation:  Will evaluate your tack fit and compatibility with your horse. 
• Ground work:  Work on ground, getting a better understanding for where your horse is at, where they need more education, how they connect, and education.
• Under saddle:  Getting an idea for how your horse moves, soundness, aids, and overall discipline.
• Exposure:  If your horse needs more time in the arena, I can do that, if they require more time on the trail, and exposure, I can do that as well. 
• At the end of my time with your horse (and you're welcome to watch or not) I will give you an overall intake on your horse, as well as notes throughout our journey.

Investment:  Initial Getting to Know You Package:  $325

Includes: 

• Free initial consult (30-60 minutes tops)
• Three hands on sessions.
• Notes and video after each session.
• Final intake/evaluation as well as suggested action plan.

If you decide you would like me to continue with your horse, additional sessions are $50 per session when you buy a package of four, otherwise $75 per session.
